Don Bosco walk
Don Bosco’s walk, starting from the Sanctuary of Maria Ausiliatrice leads to Colle Don Bosco (in Castelnuovo Don Bosco). The route crosses the historic city centre of Turin (Rondò della forca, Piazza della Repubblica, Duomo di San Giovanni, Piazza Castello, Piazza Vittorio Veneto) to the church of Gran Madre di Dio, on the Po river at the foot of the Turin hill.
The route begins at the Codana lake, goes up to Montiglio and crosses the countrysides and towns reaching Piovà Massaia, for a break in front of the Saints Pietro and Giorgio church, one of the best examples of Baroque architecture in Monferrato.
From the Romanic church of San Pietro di Fenestrella to the abbey of Vezzolano
