A walk through the hill in the Monferrato Riviera

You already know how much good walking does to your body: it tones up your legs, glutes and abs, helps your breathing and heart and takes away anxiety and sadness, releasing endorphins and serotonin. What you may not know is that walking also improves creativity: studies have shown that walking through the woods helps our mind to find unusual and effective solutions to everyday problems.

Discover the natural beauties of the Monferrato Riviera in the most natural way: walking through the paths of its beautiful hills.

Don Bosco walk

Don Bosco’s walk, starting from the Sanctuary of Maria Ausiliatrice leads to Colle Don Bosco (in Castelnuovo Don Bosco). The route crosses the historic city centre of Turin (Rondò della forca, Piazza della Repubblica, Duomo di San Giovanni, Piazza Castello, Piazza Vittorio Veneto) to the church of Gran Madre di Dio, on the Po river at the foot of the Turin hill.

From the Romanic church of San Pietro di Fenestrella to the abbey of Vezzolano
