Description

Via S. Defendente, 2 – Gabiano

Located at the foot of the Alps, in a dominant position on the Po River valley, the Gabiano Castle is a very well kept secret. An extraordinary estate surrounded by 260 hectares, 5 of which reserved for the park and 20 for vineyards. Known for the quality and uniqueness of its wines, it houses the smallest and oldest D.O.C. of Italy: the Gabiano Riserva D.O.C. “A Matilde Giustiniani” , obtained from the best bunches of Barbera in a historic vineyard that the princess started herself. With the restoration of Casa Caccia, an ancient building of the Castle complex, the Marquis Cattaneo Adorno open the doors to a unique residence of elegance and prestige. Casa Caccia today includes, in addition to the already existing Emporio of its wines and the tasting room, three rooms for romantic guests. The suites “The Three Watches”, “Chess” and “The Cavalcade” maintain their noble authority: sober but comfortable they have the spirit and characteristics of a large welcoming house, where you can enjoy the fascinating world of nectar independently and relax of Bacchus.
