Description

In the Monteu da Po area have been found the remains of a roman colony named Industria-Bodincomacus. The location, set in the San Giovanni hamlet, comprises a roman forum, a temple dedicated to Iset and the remnants of old romanic shops. The ruins constitute only a small part of the big Industria city, mentioned fo the first time by Pilinio il Vecchio, who describes it as an important harbor on the Po river. A Hun’s invasion ended the commercial activity of the harbor, setting fire to the colony.
